There are no set age restrictions for the different races - enter the category that will challenge you!

Directions from Bathurst Visitors Information Centre to Ben Chifley Dam are as follows -

• Turn left into Kendall Avenue and continue to the end of the block Havannah Street intersection.
• Turn right and continue along Havannah Street 6 blocks to Rocket Street.
• Turn left into Rocket Street then continue along this street to the bridge over the railway line.
• Travel over the bridge then turn right at the end on to the Vale Road following the sign towards Perthville.
• Travel 4 kms along Vale Road past the old Bathurst Saleyards.
• Turn left at The Lagoon turnoff (sign posted Ben Chifley Dam).
• Follow this road for 12.2kms to village of The Lagoon (this road is all sealed but is a little windy and narrow in places).
• Cross Daveys Creek bridge and turn left immediately into the first gate way (sign posted Ben Chifley Dam).
• Follow the road for 3kms until you encounter 2 gates - one to the front/left, the other to the right.
• Enter the right hand gate and continue 1km to the playground and cabins area at the dam.
